"body": "The return is a particular procedure that allows a previously purchased product to be returned to the sender when, for one reason or another, the customer is not happy with it. It often happens that, for various reasons, the product does not meet the expectations of the person who ordered it, which is why this procedure becomes necessary. Unfortunately, making a return is not as simple as one might think, since many problems can arise, especially during the shippingphase. In any case, more and more people make use of this option, whereas in the past people tended to keep the item to avoid starting such a demanding procedure.nnFor what reasons does returning a commercial item become necessary?nnThe law gives every customer the option of making a return, that is, exercising the right of withdrawal regarding a particular purchase. Save for special exceptions, this must be requested within 14 days of receipt.nnYou must therefore contact the seller or the company where the purchase was made. Every business and every website has its own methods for carrying out this procedure, and it is the seller who will tell the customer how to proceed.nnMost likely the product can be returned by filling in a form and handing the item to a courier who will come to collect it. Once it reaches the company, the product will be examined and, if the requirements of eligibility are met, the customer will receive a refund or an exchange. The reasons a customer may request a return are truly many.nnA product may simply not be liked, may turn out different from expectations, may be faulty or perhaps not work as described. Some people return an item because they realise they no longer want the product at the time of purchase, while others may simply have changed their mind. The seller, however, is not interested in the reason an item is returned, since, in any case, the right of return extends to everyone.nnWhy choose good packaging to protect the item being returned?nnWhen you decide to make a return, it’s wise to take all the precautions needed so that it can reach the seller without being damaged. This is because, thanks to good packaging, all the variables that could damage the product during the journey are greatly reduced. Many sellers, in fact, grant a refund only if the returned product comes back intact. That’s why it’s only right to take the proper care.nnThe best method is to return the purchased item in its original packaging. This way the purchased product will be protected, and the seller too can observe its characteristics on receipt. If, on the other hand, the original packaging is broken or has been lost, it’s wise to wrap the item in protective materials, such as bubble wrap or polystyrene.nnThese materials can cushion all sorts of impacts or vibrations, conditions impossible to avoid during the journey. It’s very important to put everything in a sturdy, intact box that can provide extra protection on top of the precautions already taken.nnThese measures don’t only serve to preserve the nature of the parcel and the item being returned. They are care that the individual chooses to take out of respect for the company where the purchase was made. In many cases, also used is protective foam , which in no way damages the item to be returned, but manages to stabilise it inside the parcel.nnThis particular procedure is very common when returning fragile or delicate goods. Only in this way, in fact, can you fill all the spaces inside the parcel and so prevent the product from moving around too much during the journey. It’s also very important to take further precautions when returning a pointed object that could cause mishaps during transport.nnDon’t underestimate the size of the box to use. A parcel that is too small could damage the item being returned, while one that is too large would be extremely bulky and offer little protection. The last tip is to seal the parcel with adhesive tape, especially at the points where the box is most likely to open or break.nnYou should then remove every kind of writing from the parcel to be shipped, as this could mislead the courier or whoever handles delivery. Finally, it’s good practice to give delivery instructions simply and effectively, using pre-printed labels or adopting clear handwriting that everyone can easily read."
