The features of pallet wrapping machines

Pallet wrapping machines are used in applications where the volumes of pallets to prepare are very high and a speed is needed that would be impossible to achieve manually. There are two fundamental types:

Pallet wrapping robots

Pallet wrapping robots are small, fully automatic mobile industrial robots that move around the pallet laying down the stretch wrap. They are very well suited to operations where load shape and size vary greatly.

Turntables

Turntables are motorised platforms on which the pallet to be wrapped is placed; the platform is then set spinning, and the stretch film is fed from a fixed roll. They are very well suited to standardised packaging carried out in a controlled environment.

In both cases, completing the operation naturally requires the use of machine stretch films, chosen appropriately according to the load to be secured.
