What is steel strapping

Steel strapping consists of long bands of high-strength steel. It is strapping of a particular kind, used to fasten very heavy loads such as metal pipes or concrete blocks onto pallets.

The features of steel strapping

Steel strapping is used only for critical loads, and must therefore boast foolproof strength. For this reason it is made of galvanised steel, with thicknesses up to one millimetre and widths between 13 and 32 mm, and thanks to the use of the dedicated specific strapping tools it is fastened by crimping or with dedicated seals.
