Industrial screwdrivers are basically of two kinds: electric ones, both corded and cordless, and pneumatic ones, powered by a compressor. Some models can be fitted with dedicated automatic magazines, similar to those of stick nailers, to further speed up the process of driving screws into wood. Besides ergonomic features, such as the shaped grip and non-slip surfaces that make them easier to use, screwdrivers offer functions like tightening-torque adjustment and hexagonal chucks for selecting different bits, allowing maximum versatility of use. Screwdrivers are of course paired with screws of every type and size, to allow an assembly that can easily be taken apart.
